1. Shipping Your Items
Sellers are responsible for shipping their sold items to buyers. If you’re using a shipping or fulfillment service, please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for making sure that your buyers receive the item(s) they purchased from your shop. By selling on Isle 4, you agree to: A. Provide an accurate “ships from” address. B. Specify your shipping costs and processing times in your listings. C. Ship items promptly after they are sold. Prompt shipping means that you ship each item within 30 days of purchase, unless you specify otherwise in your processing time or agree to a different shipping period with the buyer. D. Comply with all local and international shipping and customs regulations. We know that shipping and customs regulations can be tough to read, so check out these Help articles on international shipping using Canada Post. E. Shipping to the wrong address is likely to result in a non-delivery case, so make sure to ship to the address listed on Isle 4. F. Mark the order as shipped when you ship it. Remember that you may only mark an order as shipped after you actually have shipped it. G. Charge an appropriate amount for shipping. H. Free shipping on large orders may occur on occasion as a site-wide event. Please see Section 2, below. By entering tracking information on Isle 4, you’re giving us permission to collect and share the tracking information received from your chosen shipping carrier with the buyer. In the unlikely event an order does not arrive, be prepared to provide valid proof of shipping. Valid proof of shipping must show that the item actually was shipped and that it was sent to the address provided on Isle 4. If a buyer does not receive their order, they may file a case against your shop.
2. Free Shipping
On occasion, Isle 4 may offer site-wide free shipping for orders (per vendor) over a certain amount. For example, orders over $75 from each vendor will include free shipping. This is a marketing method used to draw customers to our website and our vendors.
3. Isle 4 Shipping Labels
You can print your own shipping labels. See the packing list in your order.
4. Shipping Insurance
We do not offer shipping insurance, however you may choose to purchase from your shipping company of choice. If you purchased parcel insurance from Canada Post and need to file a claim, please call Canada Post toll free at 1-866-607-6301 or contact them here.
5. Local Pickup
All Vendors offer local pickup. You must follow the Vendor’s terms listed in each Vendor’s Shipping Policy (look for this information in the tabs located underneath each product). Some Vendors may list a time frame in which your order must be picked up. Others may choose to notify you when your item is ready for pickup, or will have an alternate pick up location from their store address. Please pay attention to each Vendor’s Shipping Policy.
